Hey guys! I am back and finally showing you my Christmas home tour! The lighting wasn't the best but I didn't want to wait any longer. With the days getting shorter it is hard to get up early enough to have good light when I work nights! Anyways, hopefully they are good enough to show you how I decorated around the house. I also wanted to say that when viewing on a phone the photos appear a little blurry unless you click on each picture. I haven't figured out how to fix that yet so just an FYI. Viewing on a computer gives you the best picture results! I would like to expand out of blogger and into my own website but just don't have the know how yet.
Ok enough about that, on to the Christmas Home Tour! My posts are always a little photo heavy but this one is WAY photo heavy. I wanted to show you the entire downstairs and our master bedroom. Lets start with the entry and we will do a little circle.
Entryway
I changed up the gallery wall a little bit by adding a Christmas wreath, a scarf to my wire deer head, and a couple of new christmas wall art pieces.
I picked up that metal chicken feeder at a local thrift store and thought it brought the prefect amount of rustic to this space. A little greenery and antlers and we are ready to go!
Living Room
I decided to tone down the red a little from what I originally did in the living room. I just wanted a few pops of plaid and red spread around the room.
My "mantle" is a nice rustic display of trees, wood slices with candles, and some old stoneware and mason jars. That cute wood horse is from Marshalls and I can't remember where I got the garland from last year, maybe Michaels?
How cute is this tiny sled on my coffee table!? I love that it looks like its in the snow because of the faux fur underneath it! Some old books, spools, and a few pine cones complete the look.
I really like to keep my tree very simple. I almost wanted to leave it completely plain because I love the look of the frocked tree and lights by itself! I decided to go ahead and add a small amount of neutral ornaments I got last year, some burlap ribbon, and sweater garland that I picked up at Target (last year and this year).
One of my favorite things is this crate my dad built out of old wood for my sisters wedding. It came home with me and fits my tree perfectly! I stacked blankets next to the tree in and on another crate for a cozy feeling.
I don't have a mantle to hang stockings so I got creative and hung them on my House of Belonging sign along with an adorable flocked wreath and cute wooden skies. I did the chalkboard art using a picture I saw on pinterest. Kind of loving how that turned out!
If you follow me on Instagram you know that I got these old windows awhile back. I finally brought a bunch of them back with me from my parents house and I placed them in my existing windows to get that old house charm. I hung a real wreath in between two of them in the big window. I am loving the look and charm it brings to my new build house.
I found this super adorable wood garland at TJ Maxx and I just had to have it! It fits perfectly with the rustic cabin feel I am going for.
Someone needs a haircut!! She likes to be in pictures haha
Apparently all my animals like to make themselves known! These lanterns look perfect on this side table with a mitten garland draped over it.
Dining Room
I already shared this previously so I won't overload you with too many pictures of it again. Here is a few to remind you. For more details you can see my previous post HERE
I'm still in love with the plaid, the stoneware, brass candlesticks, and wood chargers. My love of rustic is so happy looking at this space! A couple of more real wreaths on the door (Its such a big door I though two would look nice) and a small one on the old window in the dining room add some nice touches of greenery.
Kitchen
I left my kitchen pretty simple. A couple of trees and thats about it!
This corner of the kitchen however got a lovely Christmas touch with the hot cocoa bar. Details of that can be found HERE.
Master Bedroom
I am going to do a whole post about this room soon where I will show more pictures and share the details. I did want to give you a little look though! I decided to go fully neutral in this room for a slightly different feel. I love it and I am so happy I decided to put a second tree in this room.
Whew! That was a lot of pictures! I hope I didn't bore you too much and that you made it through my Christmas Home Tour! I think I will be changing a few things up to give you some different looks in the coming week so stay tuned. I hope you enjoyed the tour and thank you so much for stopping by! I would love to hear what you thought and what style you are going for this year! You can chat and follow along with me on Instagram HERE and Facebook HERE.
